Hello,

A quick reminder that there is a ceilidh tonight!

When: Fri 22 Oct. 8.30 - midnight
Where: Royal Society for the blind hall, Mappin Street.
Who: Ceilidhsoc scracth band and Jenny Langridge
How Much: £3 for members (£2.50 before 9).and £3 to become a member (and
get the ceilidh for free)

Other Events:

-Sheffield Folk Festival

The first Sheffield folk festival is taking place on 29th - 31st October,
there will be two fanatastic ceilidhs happening as well as a host of
concerts, workshops and sessions featuring many of the talents of
Ceilidhsoc and friends.

When: Friday 29th October
Who: Hekety and Martyn Harvey
Where: St Phillip's Social Club, Daisy Lane, Sheffield

When: Saturday 30th October
Who: Trinculo and John Brown
Where: Blind Institute, Mappin Street, Sheffield

Tickets can be purchased at the event or in advance (see website for
advance tickets and day/season tickets.)

-FREE workshop day in Derby on 20th November, for young people up to age
21. Workshops for several instruments, with very good tutors, including Jo
Freya and John McCusker, plus vocal and dance workshops.  Lunch, tea &
coffee and evening concert free to participants.  For more info contact
