Help to organise a festival!

As some of you may have heard, IVFDF (the most happenin' festival on the
circuit - see www.ivfdf.org for more details) is coming back to Sheffield
in 2008. Sheffield has a reputation for putting on an exceedingly good
IVFDF, but we need your help to be able to do that. There are all sorts
of things to be done at various points over the next 15 months, so don't
worry if you have no organisational skills / folky knowledge / experience
/ idea what I'm talking about - there's room for everyone!

We're meeting this Sunday, 10th December, at 7:40pm, in the upstairs room
of the Red Deer (see www.ceilidhsoc.org for a map). It would be great to
see as many people there as possible - the plan is to spend quite a bit of
the time talking about who's going to do what, so it's a great time to
come and find out more about what's involved and let us know what you're
most interested in, how much time you've got to spare, etc. If you can't
make it but want to get involved, you can email us:
ivfdf-planning at ceilidhsoc.org and we'll keep you in the loop!

Needless to say, being involved in something like this is not only good
fun, it looks fantastic on your cv.
I'll look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Jenny
