Hello everyone! 

A weekly reminder about our session and social tomorrow night from 9 in the
University Arms (map here to help you out
http://www.ceilidhsoc.org/map.html) - a great opportunity to play, listen
and socialise with other ceilidhsoc members! As usual, before the session
we have a workshop, same place 8-9, for those wanting to develop their
session playing skills at a steady, friendly pace. The theme for this
week’s workshop is hornpipes.

On another note, for all those who haven't heard, its Sheffield folk
festival this weekend! With concerts, ceilidhs, sessions, singarounds,
workshops and dance displays there's plenty to keep you busy. Check it out

p.s. The more observant amongst you may have noted that being two weeks
since our last ceilidh we are due another this weekend. However being
Sheffield festival we've decided to have a rest. But don't worry! The
festival's ceilidh on Friday night with Glorystrokes and Martin Harvey
promises to be an absolutely fantastic night, so you don't have to go
ceilidh cold turkey. Otherwise we will be back with another ceilidh in two
weeks time!
