[Ceilidhsoc] Intro Ceilidhs (x2)

Hello everyone and welcome back to another exciting year from ceilidhsoc!

Dates for your diaries…

We have two (yes two) Intro ceilidhs lined up for you this year.

The first is at Ranmoor Halls of residence

who may get lost) next Thursday (the 27th). 

The second is on the Saturday (29th) at Loxley food court in University
House (right next door to the union, again a map here if you need it

Both ceilidhs are 8.30 til late with an all star scratch band lined up to
play us in in style! Both ceilidhs are on the union’s 'give it a go
scheme' so you can pick up tickets in advance from the union box office for
£3. Alternatively you can just turn up, again for £3 (that’s membership
for 2007/8, first ceilidh free!) 

Sessions are also up and running again in the university arms (just down
from the union towards the round a bout) every Wednesday from 9 following a
beginners workshop from 8 which takes you through popular session tunes at
a slow and friendly pace. The first session workshop of the year will be on
the wednesday after freshers week, that’s the 3rd of October to all you
non-students.

Anyway, hope you all had fantastic summers, looking forward to seeing you
