[Ceilidhsoc] IVFDF!!! And Xmas Meal reminder!

Hey guys,

Exciting news!!  It's time to start thinking about IVFDF!!

For those who don't know, IVFDF stands for Inter-Varsity Folk Dance
Festival, and is the country's longest continually running folk festival,
aimed at students.  It's hosted by a different University each year (us,
last year!), and this year will be in Exeter, Friday 27th February - Sunday
1st March 2009.  Put it in your diaries!

It's a brilliant weekend full of dancing, workshops, sessions, not a lot of
sleep, stalls from music to crafts, and amazing concerts.

Big names in attendance to include Kate Rusby and the Demon Barber
Roadshow!  Workshops on tonnes of things from Bollywood, to Cotswold
Morris, to Rapper.  There's something for everyone, whatever your folky
pleasure.  = ]

Tickets are available now, book before 31st of January and get a weekend
ticket for a student for £13.00, £22.00 for a non-student.  Note:  an
online booking fee of £1.50 will apply.

XMAS MEAL!!

Just a reminder that this Thursday is the Ceilidhsoc Xmas meal, at 7.30 at
Rajput.  Rajput is a curry house on Commonside (S10 1GB...Opposite
The Springvale pub).
