Hello Ceilidhsoc, Happy New Year!!

Hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. This is just
a little email about IVFDF! For those who don't know...

IVFDF stands for Inter-Varsity Folk Dance Festival, it is an exciting
and dynamic festival held at a different university each year. You
don't have to be a student to go, the Festival is particularly aimed
at students, but it is open to everyone and caters for a wide range of
ages and interests with numerous ceilidhs and workshops covering a
wide range of dance styles - Scottish Country, Highland, Morris,
Rapper Sword, Irish, and Playford are typical examples, with plenty of
more exotic workshops varying from year to year. This year's festival
will be held in Bristol.

We will be taking a coach this year, anyone interested in getting on
it should contact Rich at lanky_rich at hotmail.com. It will cost £15
per ticket (£10 for students). It's always a good laugh and a great
opportunity to meet people from other University Ceilidh Societies, so
put it in your diaries!

Also, make a note we're having a post exams ceilidh on February 4th at
The Edge. :)

Kat
