OK it's *busy week* with *two *CeilidhSoc-tastic *events*!


*Tuesday 8th - More Beginners' Ceilidh Dance and Ceilidh Music Workshops!*

This is our second set of *workshops *to get you into the swing of *ceilidh
culture*.  We will be running these workshops from our favorite "*temple of
beer*" *The Shakespeare Pub* (146-148 Gibraltar St, Sheffield, S Yorks S3
8UB).

*Music Officer Joe* will be at the *Student Union Foyer at 8.30pm* to meet
you and will walk you down to the venue to get there around 9pm.  Or just go

We'll be running the *two concurrent workshops* from *9pm *to *10pm*

1) *Beginners Ceilidh Dance* - learn the *basic moves* of ceilidh dance and
try out a few dances under the tuition of our very own *President Rebekah*.
A small, but *impressively toned* band will accompany your first steps into
ceilidh couture.

2) *Beginners Ceilidh Tunes* - *Music Officers Joe and Clara* will *demonstrate
some tunes* that we play regularly in our sessions and ceilidhs.  This week
it will be *Rice *and the *LNB Polka*.

After 10pm, we'll all *get together* for a drink and you can all experience
the *Infamous CeilidhSoc Music Session*.


*Friday 11th  - CeilidhSoc Freshers' Pub Crawl*

This is a *social *for new members to meet up with existing members in a
social that isn't a session or ceilidh.  CeilidhSoc has a long standing and
*close knit community* behind it and we're always welcoming new members.
 Come along and meet us all. If you're very lucky, CeilidhSoc *Secretary
Hannah* will tell you about her world-renowned *matchbox collection*.

We'll start at the University Arms at
